Select answers quicker using the button group
The button group provides an even more efficient way to select answers on a form. Users can simply choose an answer
from between 2 and 5 buttons. Each button can be assigned a specific color, providing a visual summary of a form’s answers. The button group also collects number values for scoring and allows users to add comments for specified answers.
Field workers can take advantage of the button group to enrich their inspections. They may color-code pass and fail buttons to make it easier to see the results of an inspection. If an element of an inspection fails, detailed notes can be written in a text box. Additionally, answers can be assigned specific values, which can be tallied as an overall score.
Enter accurate numerical data with the slider and stepper
Field workers can now enter numerical data without having to use a keyboard. The new slider and stepper controls help cut down on data entry time and prevent errors that can occur when inputting numbers manually.
The slider control allows users to select a number on a scale, making it quicker and easier to record time, project costs, temperature readings and more. Users may expect their answers to fall within a specific range of numbers, so the scale can be customized to suit the task at hand.
The stepper control lets users select a number using +/- buttons. Like the slider control, the stepper is customizable, allowing for predetermined ranges and increments.
