We are constantly looking for ways to improve how people build with our platform. That’s why we have released three new updates to the Form Builder. Combined with our Add Questions Anywhere enhancement from the Spring Release, these enhancements help you refine your workflows faster.
Platform updates for faster and easier workflow iteration
The best workflows are built through an iterative process, allowing designers, technicians, and other stakeholders to refine them over time. As situations change, teams can quickly adapt using a platform like TrueContext. Similarly, new workflows are often best started not from scratch but off existing forms honed using this process.
Starting from a tried-and-true form is a great way to get a new workflow running, encourage rapid adoption, and accelerate iteration. This is why we have released the enhancements featured in this post.
New enhancements to the Form Builder
Delete Multiple Form Elements
To get a new workflow started quickly, one way that workflow designers have been using is copying an existing form that contains the structure they want and building from there. This approach has been greatly enhanced with the new capability to delete multiple form elements at once. With this improvement to the Form Builder, you can now easily select and delete multiple questions, sections, or pages. This saves time over the previous method of deleting elements one at a time.

Add & Reorder Conditional Logic Actions
Conditional logic actions allow you to effect pages, sections, or questions based on a technician’s inputs. Because these actions execute in the order they are displayed, being able to easily move or add actions can greatly speed up testing and troubleshooting.

Button Group Question Previews
This improvement is specific to the Button Group question type, one of the most frequently used elements in TrueContext forms. Button Groups display color-coded selections to the technician, allowing for quick and precise data capture and review within the workflow. When creating and updating these controls in the Form Builder, you can now see at a glance how the text and colors are configured, saving clicks and review time.

Add Questions Anywhere
This feature takes some of the friction out of refining a workflow in the Form Builder. When responding to insights from the field and implementing improvements, you may often find yourself needing to add and re-order questions. This improvement allows you to pinpoint the location of the new question, saving time by reducing the need to reorder questions.
