Now that you have a working mobile tool for your field technicians, it’s to move on to change management, to ensure that they are actually using the platform by helping them adapt to change. Successful change management reduces user resistance and allows you to maximize the benefits of your TrueContext deployment.
1.
Create and implement a communication strategy addressing the change
Develop communications that focus on why the TrueContext app matters to your users and how it will streamline field work and make their lives easier. Use the appropriate channels to ensure the right users get the right message. Create an avenue for feedback so your users feel that their opinions are valued and included in the iteration process.
Try to cover the following points as you build audience-specific communications for different user groups:
- What processes have changed with this digitization?
- What new technologies are being deployed?
- How much training is involved to support this change?
- What is expected of users?
- What avenues are available for support and feedback regarding this transition?
2.
Deliver training content and other resources to help your users get started
Direct users to TrueContext resources to ensure they have a great experience with the platform and support your transition. University offers onboarding training with different levels to jumpstart usage and adoption. Product Documentation provides in-depth information on features and functionality and how to use them. Community is an online platform where customers can ask questions regarding their experience and collaborate with other users.
3. Deploy. Iterate rapidly. Adapt in real time.
Copy all forms, destinations, data sources, and output documents from your UAT FormSpace to the Production Formspace. Provision licenses and create accounts for all users who need access to the app and platform. Note user feedback and continue refining your workflows as an ongoing commitment to user experience.
